How to map couples, solo travellers, children and people who need more privacy before deciding who stays in each room, and what information to send the host to speed up preparing the house.

Start with a map of the group

Before looking at the floor plan, write the real list: how many couples, how many people travelling alone, how many children, and who is a light sleeper or an early riser.

Set two or three priorities

It is not possible to optimise everything at once. Choose what matters most: closeness between families, quiet for light sleepers, or independence for a subgroup.

  • Who needs to be close to whom
  • Who benefits from a quieter floor
  • Who prefers single beds

Use the floors to the group's advantage

At Casa Caparica, the first floor holds the shared living spaces, the second floor has four bedrooms, and the third floor is an independent apartment with three smaller bedrooms, a kitchenette and a living room. This separation allows different rhythms within the same stay.

What to send the host

Number of people, number of couples, preference for single beds, presence of children and privacy needs. With this information, the house is prepared before arrival.
